| Thunder Storm causes 2 separate building fires July, 2008 A quick thunderstorm raced through Wellesley, with significant lightening. The first strike was on Linden Street at the VW Dealership, causing a fire on the 2nd floor. While Wellesley Fire went to work, a second fire on Wingate Road was reported in a private dwelling. Companies were released from the first fire and went to the second, along with Newton and Needham. Both fires were stopped quickly by Wellesley Fire. www.wellesleypdphoto.com |
