| Gas Tanker Roll Over and Explosion Rt. 95 South after Highland Avenue, Needham July 12, 2008 A gas tanker carrying 11,000 gallons of gasoline overturned and exploded at 0530 hours on last half. The driver escaped with minor injuries. Rt. 95 was closed for several hours by Needham and the State Police. Wellesley PD and Highway assisted at the scene and in closing the highway at Route 9.
